1963 TRUMPY Classic Compare

Built by Trumpy in 1963, PINTAIL is a 25.6-metre classic motor yacht representing a rare chapter in American wooden boat building. She is Contract #407, one of only two 84-foot hulls ever constructed by Trumpy and the only example built in a cruiser configuration, giving her a distinctive place in the builder's history. Her double-planked mahogany construction reflects the craftsmanship standards of a yard long regarded as one of the finest in the United States.

Rebuilt in 1999, PINTAIL offers a practical and well-considered layout across her 25.6 metres. She accommodates guests in three staterooms and features a generous aft cockpit well suited to outdoor living and relaxed time on the water. The raised pilothouse provides excellent visibility for navigation, while the full-beam galley offers a functional and spacious working area at the heart of the vessel. These elements combine to create a comfortable and characterful cruising environment.

PINTAIL is particularly well suited to buyers seeking a proven, seaworthy classic motor yacht with an established cruising history. Having cruised seasonally for 18 years along the East Coast of the United States — including Nantucket, Charleston, Jacksonville, and Palm Beach — she demonstrates consistent use and a well-maintained cruising lifestyle. She appeals to those who appreciate authentic American wooden boat heritage and the intimacy of a three-stateroom layout for private or family cruising.
