2028 JFA Long Island 78 Compare

Built by JFA Yachts in 2028, LONG ISLAND 78 is a 23.77-metre motor catamaran that offers a balanced combination of comfort, usability and presence on the water. Designed by Marc Lombard with interior and exterior styling by Franck Darnet Design, this yacht delivers practical elegance for modern cruising.

The Long Island 78 features aluminum hulls with composite deck and superstructure, keeping weight low and efficiency high. Two 500 hp engines deliver a cruising speed of 12 knots with a maximum speed of 18 knots. The layout provides four cabins across both hulls: a spacious owner's suite and guest cabin in the port hull, plus three additional guest cabins in the starboard hull. The central nacelle houses the galley, salon, dining area and chart table. An enclosed wheelhouse on the flybridge offers panoramic views with a banquette and desk, while exterior spaces include a forward lounge and sea-water bath, a large aft cockpit, and flybridge seating with dining and a small kitchenette.

This yacht suits buyers seeking comfortable long-range cruising with efficient fuel consumption and moderate engine size. The four-cabin layout makes it well-suited for family cruising or entertaining guests, while the lightweight catamaran design supports extended passages with practical accommodation and well-organized living spaces.
