Built by Cantiere delle Marche in 2024, EMPIRE is a 26.1-metre motor yacht based on the Darwin Class 86 model, developed in collaboration with Hydro Tec for naval architecture and Alessandro Massari for interior design. She has been purpose-built for long-range cruising, including in high-latitude and remote regions, with specific structural reinforcements such as an ice belt at the waterline, reinforced hull and rudders for icy conditions, and partially bulletproof steel plating in the hull. A fourth pilot station in the engine room adds an additional layer of operational capability, while Boening integrated monitoring and control systems support ease of handling from the wheelhouse.

EMPIRE accommodates guests across four cabins: a full-beam owner's stateroom amidships on the lower deck, two twin cabins each with a pullman berth, and a forward VIP suite. The interiors reflect a sober, understated elegance, with custom-made furniture complemented by pieces from Poltrona Frau and Poliform. Social spaces on the main deck include indoor and outdoor lounging and dining areas, a bar, and a well-positioned galley. The upper deck features a gym and a lounge opening onto a furnished stern terrace, while the sun deck provides an open-air relaxation area with loose furniture and sunbeds. Crew quarters for four, a crew mess, and a dedicated staircase connecting to the wheelhouse ensure efficient on-board operations. Power is provided by twin Scania engines delivering 294 kW each, supported by three Northern Light generators totalling 155 kW and sodium-lithium chloride batteries for enhanced energy efficiency. An anti-intrusion system is also fitted.
