Built by Marlow in 2018, TURANGALILA is a 22.85-meter motor yacht that represents a rare opportunity as the first Explorer 75E-CB delivered to the United States. This enclosed bridge motor yacht combines balanced performance with serious cruising capability, backed by professional ownership and meticulous maintenance since delivery.
Powered by twin Caterpillar C-32 ACERT engines producing 1800 horsepower each, TURANGALILA delivers cruising speeds around 24 knots and top speeds approaching 30 knots. With just 1,350 engine hours, the engines carry the confidence of Caterpillar warranty extension. The yacht accommodates up to 4 cabins and features Marlow's proprietary lightweight composite construction, a fully enclosed command bridge for enhanced weather protection and year-round usability, upgraded hydraulic bow and stern thrusters, and Naiad stabilizers. Additional operational systems include dual upgraded generators, wireless Yacht Controller, premium Garmin electronics, Starlink connectivity, underwater lighting, and a Spot Zero water purification system with fuel polishing capability. Recent comprehensive services completed in August 2025 include bottom paint, running gear Prop Speed application, zinc replacement, hull refinishing and wax service.
TURANGALILA appeals to experienced private operators seeking a capable, well-maintained platform for extended cruising, as well as to owners planning fully crewed operations. The combination of twin-engine reliability, extended range, robust electrical infrastructure, and refined enclosed-bridge design makes her well-suited for both serious distance cruising and comfortable year-round operation in varied sea conditions.
