Built by Burger Boat Company in 2017, NORTHLAND is a 31.69-meter explorer motor yacht that offers a balanced combination of comfort, usability and presence on the water. Designed by Luis de Basto to the specifications of her original owner and captain, she represents a thoughtful approach to long-range cruising with practical operation in mind.
NORTHLAND features a steel hull with bulbous bow and is powered by dependable CAT engines, capable of a 4,000+ nautical mile range. Her four-stateroom general arrangement plus crew quarters is oriented towards family use, with the Master suite positioned aft on the bridge deck. Deck layout includes covered walk-around side decks with entry doors to the salon foyer and crew galley, forward steps to a Portuguese bridge, sea stairs for aft deck boarding, and a hydraulic passarelle gangway. Two diesel-powered tenders are stationed on the forward working deck, with a well-utilized fishing cockpit aft. The design prioritizes reasonable draft for this vessel class and lower exterior maintenance demands, allowing operation with a modest crew.
NORTHLAND suits buyers seeking a capable family cruising platform with genuine long-range capability and practical design. Her construction quality, proven 4,000+ mile range, and thoughtful layout appeal to those planning extended voyages while maintaining manageable operational requirements. She represents a well-considered balance between expedition capability and family comfort.
