2023 FOUNTAINE PAJOT Astréa 42 Maestro Сравнить

Built by Fountaine Pajot in 2023, Migaloo II is a 12.58-metre sailing catamaran from the Astréa 42 Maestro range that offers a well-balanced combination of comfort, self-sufficiency and ease of use for extended cruising. Still in first private ownership, she has been carefully maintained and continuously improved since delivery, and notably took first place at the 2025 Fountaine Pajot Owners' Rendezvous — a testament to the quality of her specification and presentation.

The Maestro layout gives Migaloo II a dedicated owner's hull alongside two guest cabins, making her equally suited to owner-couple cruising and hosting friends or family aboard. Her energy system is a particular strength: a Victron-based lithium battery bank of four 280 Ah LiFePO₄ units (approximately 14.3 kWh), an 800 W solar array with Victron MPPT controllers, a 9 kW Onan generator, twin alternators on both Volvo D2-50 engines, and a Victron Quattro II 3 kW inverter/charger combine to deliver reliable off-grid autonomy. Six Frigomar air-conditioning units totalling 56,000 BTU, a 12 V Aquabase watermaker producing 105 litres per hour, an Acuva UV freshwater purification system, a full Garmin electronics suite, Starlink, Iridium Go, a Bosch washing machine and dishwasher, 100 metres of Grade 70 chain with a 33 kg Rocna anchor, twin mooring reels, a Highfield Hypalon tender with a Yamaha F20 on a console helm, and a comprehensive safety package including a 10-man liferaft, EPIRB, PLBs and a defibrillator complete the specification. Cockpit cushions, extensive sunshades and custom storage details further enhance life aboard.

Migaloo II is well suited to buyers looking for a turnkey sailing catamaran ready for Mediterranean liveaboard use or extended bluewater passages. Every system has been selected and upgraded with long-term, independent cruising in mind, and end-of-season maintenance has been carried out consistently throughout the ownership period. She is currently lying in Preveza, Greece, fully equipped and export-ready, making her a straightforward option for buyers seeking a recent, well-specified Astréa 42 without the lead time of a new build.
