Built by Astilleros Astondoa in 2023, this AS5 is a 17.37-metre motor yacht that represents the latest evolution from Spain's leading family-owned builder. With over 100 years of shipbuilding heritage in Alicante, Astondoa has created a vessel that offers a balanced combination of comfort, usability and presence on the water, setting a new standard in the 55–57-foot motor-yacht segment.
The AS5 features three staterooms including a full-beam aft master with over 6 feet of headroom, complemented by crew quarters and a galley-up design. Propulsion comes from twin Volvo IPS 950 engines delivering 725 HP each, paired with a Volvo Dynamic Positioning System and bow thruster for confident maneuvering. Navigation and monitoring are handled by a full Garmin electronics package and three CCTV cameras. The yacht is equipped with Seakeeper 6 stabilization, hydraulic swim platform, and comprehensive systems including tropical air conditioning, washer/dryer, and a Dometic management system with 12-inch display. The interior showcases teak flooring throughout with an upgraded wood salon floor, electric hi/low salon table, 50-inch hi/low television, and wine fridge, while the exterior benefits from a custom flybridge hardtop with fridge, grill and sink, plus cockpit sun shade awning and ice maker.
