2100 HYATT 55 Comparar

Built by Hyatt in 1997, this 55 is a 16.78-metre motor yacht that offers a balanced combination of comfort, usability and presence on the water. The vessel accommodates guests across three cabins and is powered by twin Caterpillar 3208 diesel engines (port: 1,467 hours, starboard: 676 hours), with ten hours since the last oil change. Maintenance records include a haul-out in April 2023 with new antifouling paint and new cutlass bearings, a new Muir anchor winch fitted in 2020, and new batteries installed in 2022. Five air conditioning systems are fitted throughout, including at the upper helm. Navigation and electronics equipment includes a Garmin 512 GPS, Garmin autopilot, two VHF radios and a stereo system. It should be noted that the bow thruster is currently in need of repair.

The layout is well-suited to extended cruising. The wheelhouse features large wraparound bench seating with cushions and is protected by Eisenglass curtains, as is the aft deck. The galley is fully equipped with a full-size refrigerator, two-burner stove, oven, microwave, toaster and sink, alongside a U-shaped dining area with a folding and height-adjustable table. The spacious aft deck includes a Gaggenau oven and a sofa that converts into a double bed. On deck, a dinghy davit and space for a small tender are available. Below, the engine room houses two generators (a 9 kW aft unit and a 21 kW main unit), a 20-gallon-per-hour watermaker, battery charger, electric panel, water heater, vacuum system and fuel filters.

This yacht is well-suited to buyers looking for a capable and practical motor yacht for private cruising, whether for weekend getaways or longer passages with family or friends. The three-cabin layout, generous onboard equipment and recent maintenance items make it a solid candidate for those seeking a ready-to-use vessel. Buyers should factor in the bow thruster repair as part of their overall evaluation.
