2028 JFA Long Island 87 Compare

Built by JFA in 2028, Long Island 87 is a 26.51-meter sailing yacht that represents a refined approach to long-range cruising design. This model is the culmination of 15 years of collaborative development between JFA Yachts and Marc Lombard Yacht Design Group, drawing on over three decades of expertise in designing and constructing large cruising multihulls. The yacht combines contemporary design with proven engineering principles, offering owners a balanced combination of comfort, performance, and dependability on extended voyages.

Long Island 87 accommodates four cabins and offers the practical layout expected of a dedicated ocean-cruising platform. The hull is constructed using aluminum and composite materials, reflecting JFA's established expertise in lightweight structural engineering. The design emphasizes efficient sailing and motoring performance through careful weight management, resulting in displacement approximately 30% lower than comparable models. This reduced displacement translates directly to higher average speeds and reduced fuel consumption, a key advantage for long-distance voyages.

This yacht is well suited to experienced cruising families and private owners seeking a capable, efficient vessel for extended bluewater expeditions. The emphasis on durability, reliability, and long-range autonomy makes Long Island 87 an appropriate choice for those planning serious offshore passages while maintaining comfortable living standards aboard.
