The vessel represents a distinguished collaboration between renowned designer Rıza Tansu and the shipbuilders at Tufan and Brothers, fusing bold aesthetic design with technical mastery and performance standards.
Mako Shark accommodates 10 guests across 5 cabins, with capacity for 4–5 crew members. The yacht features a steel hull and aluminium superstructure with full displacement naval architecture. Propulsion comes from twin Cummins X15 engines (630 HP each), delivering a cruising speed of 10 knots and maximum speed of 13 knots. Additional capabilities include a Side Power bow thruster, Humphree zero-speed stabilizers, and a 3,000 nautical mile range at 9 knots. The vessel is equipped with dual Kohler 28 kW generators, a 66 kW Mastervolt lithium-ion battery system, and a Horizon Seafari 225 watermaker. Navigation is handled by Simrad electronics including HALO 3 radar, dual NSO-16 EVO3 displays, autopilot, GPS, AIS and VHF systems.
The interior balances refined luxury with expedition-ready functionality, featuring expansive living areas and thoughtfully arranged spaces ideal for extended cruising. Comfort systems include dual Cruisair air conditioning units (72,000 BTU each) with multiple fan coils, zero-speed stabilization, and comprehensive safety features including FM200 fire suppression in the engine room, automatic sprinklers, and dual 6-person life rafts. The galley is fully equipped with Siemens appliances—oven, cooktop, dishwasher, refrigerator and freezer—complemented by a wine cooler and ice makers. Entertainment options include Samsung televisions in main areas and cabins, plus Yamaha and JL Audio systems throughout.
