2023 MYSTIQUE YACHTS Compare

Built by Mystique Yachts in 2023, Silhouette 800 is a 24-metre sailing catamaran constructed to CE Category A standards, reflecting the builder's established track record with award-winning 76ft catamarans. She completed her shakedown voyage directly from the factory in South Africa to the USA, demonstrating her seakeeping ability and reliability from the outset. The result is a well-thought-out vessel that balances performance under sail with genuine liveaboard comfort.

Silhouette 800 offers a five-guest and two-crew cabin layout, accommodating up to ten guests and six crew members. The on-deck master stateroom is a standout feature, positioned at the forward centreline of the saloon with a king-size island bed, walk-in closet, vanity dressing table, private ensuite and remote-controlled roller blinds — a practical arrangement that avoids steps for the owner. Four additional guest cabins are located below deck, each with a queen-size bed and private ensuite. The main saloon is generously proportioned, featuring both a lounge and dining area, a 55-inch Samsung TV with soundbar, an icemaker and a drinks fridge. The cockpit provides an aft dining table, six folding chairs, two sun beds, marine speakers and a beverage refrigerator, while an electronically operated hi/lo swim platform adds versatility at the stern. The expansive flybridge serves as the primary helm station, equipped with a full Raymarine suite including GPS plotter, radar, sounder, autopilot, VHF and a thermal night vision camera, alongside a beverage refrigerator, sink and abundant seating.

Silhouette 800 is well suited to buyers seeking a capable blue-water sailing catamaran for extended private cruising, with the crew infrastructure and layout to support fully crewed operations. The on-deck master cabin and straightforward sailing operations from the flybridge make her equally appealing to owner-operators and those who prefer to cruise with professional crew. The twin Volvo D3 200HP shaft-drive engines, twin Onan generators, Aqua Air air conditioning and Sea Recovery watermaker provide the self-sufficiency required for long-distance passages.
