Quiet Waters benefits from major mechanical investments and recent upgrades throughout. The twin Caterpillar 3412 engines, each producing 1,350 horsepower, underwent complete rebuilds in June 2024 by an authorized Caterpillar service center, with all new internal components and OEM parts installed. The yacht carries approximately 4,385 original engine hours, with fewer than 10 hours since the rebuild. Additional recent work includes a new Caterpillar aft generator installed in 2023, hydraulic bow thruster, Naiad stabilizers, and a sea lift platform installed in 2018. Navigation and entertainment systems were updated in 2022, featuring updated electronics at both pilot house and bridge stations, SAT TV, and Wi-Fi connectivity.
The interior and exterior have been thoughtfully refined. A custom hard top with polycarbonate enclosure, custom exterior cushions and covers, custom teak decking on cockpit soles and cover boards, and custom LED lighting throughout create a refined cruising environment. The galley features new stainless steel appliances and a glass cook top, while salon and galley flooring and décor were updated in 2021. The vessel includes a 2019 Walker Bay RIB tender with 50-horsepower Honda engine. All major systems—air conditioning, heads, pumps, and domestic systems—have been serviced or recently replaced as needed, with recent work on the bottom, shaft seals, and propeller balancing.
