Built by Fountaine Pajot in 2008, Galathea 65 is a 19.81-meter sailing catamaran that combines comfortable cruising with solid performance characteristics. She represents the builder's commitment to quality construction and thoughtful design for those seeking extended time at sea.
The Galathea 65 is constructed using isophthalic resins in an all-infusion composite process, delivering a lightweight yet robust multihull structure. The interior features high-gloss wood veneers and quality systems throughout. The yacht accommodates four cabins, providing flexible sleeping arrangements for families or small groups. Deck layout includes double semi-flybridge cockpits, an integrated composite bimini that sits flush with the low saloon house, and an innovative aft platform that functions as both sundeck and dinghy storage. The main deck and outside cockpit are on the same level, creating an open and functional living space.
This catamaran suits experienced cruisers and liveaboard sailors who value seaworthiness and range. Her expanded waterline length, powerful sailplan and relatively light displacement make her capable for longer passages while maintaining good handling characteristics. The flexible interior layout can be customized to suit different cruising programs and personal requirements.
