2019 PRINCESS YACHTS F 55 Compare

Built by Princess Yachts in 2019, PLACID is a 17.6-metre motor yacht — the Princess F55 — that offers a balanced combination of comfort, usability and presence on the water. With approximately 611 engine hours as of November 2025, this well-maintained example is immediately available at a competitive price, with EU VAT paid.

On board, PLACID stands out for the quality of her equipment and the attention given to her upkeep. The interior features a light Oak finish with timber flooring throughout the saloon and galley, creating a warm and practical living environment across three cabins plus a dedicated crew cabin, both with air conditioning. Key systems include twin Volvo Penta D13-800 engines with triple joystick control, bow and stern thrusters, a Seakeeper NG9 gyro stabiliser with variable speed, a hydraulic bathing platform with remote control, a hydraulic gangway, a Bimini on the flybridge, an Onan 17.5 kW generator, a 2.5 kW inverter for all sockets, and a Watermaker Evo producing 200 litres per hour. The full teak deck adds to the overall finish and practicality on deck. Recent work completed in 2025 includes new service and engine batteries, high-speed antifouling, Propspeed treatment, and the inverter installation, while the tender — a Highfield CL 340 Hypalon with a Honda 20HP outboard — was added in 2021.

PLACID is well suited to buyers looking for a capable and well-equipped motor yacht for private cruising, with a practical layout that accommodates family or friends across three cabins. The crew cabin adds operational flexibility, while the gyro stabiliser and comprehensive manoeuvring systems make her accessible for hands-on owners. The low engine hours, recent maintenance, and breadth of on-board equipment make this a particularly straightforward proposition at this size.
