2018 FERRETTI YACHTS Ferretti Yacht 550 Compare

Built by Ferretti Yachts in 2018, FUNSEEKER is a 17.44-metre motor yacht that offers a balanced combination of comfort, usability and presence on the water. Based on the Ferretti 550 platform, she accommodates guests across three well-appointed staterooms, making her a practical and enjoyable choice for both short coastal trips and extended cruising.

FUNSEEKER is presented in excellent condition, having recently come out of the boatyard with fresh bottom paint, Propspeed-coated running gear, new zincs, and a professionally compounded and polished hull. Both engines and the generator have been recently serviced, and all maintenance is reported up to date. A Seakeeper gyro stabiliser was installed last year, contributing to a noticeably more comfortable ride at sea. The yacht is also fitted with a Starlink antenna for reliable onboard connectivity. Navigation is handled by three Simrad NSS 12 Evo multifunction displays — one at the helm station and two at the flybridge — complemented by a Simrad autopilot, 4G broadband radar, AIS, VHF radio, Side-Power bow and stern thrusters, and Humphree interceptor trim tabs. Climate control is provided throughout by a Dometic centralised chilled-water air conditioning system with independent digital thermostats in each zone. Refrigeration options include Isotherm units at the flybridge and in the galley, a large Whynter fridge in the master stateroom, and a Raritan icemaker in the cockpit. Entertainment systems by Fusion, JL Audio and Harman are installed in the saloon, with independent audio and television systems in each stateroom.

FUNSEEKER is well suited to buyers looking for a privately owned motor yacht that is genuinely ready to use from day one. The combination of recent maintenance, updated electronics, gyro stabilisation and comprehensive onboard systems means the new owner can focus on enjoying the water rather than addressing a list of outstanding items. Her three-cabin layout makes her equally appropriate for a couple seeking space and comfort or a small family planning regular weekend and holiday use.
