Built by Southerly Yachts in 2024, Off The Grid is a 12.97-metre sailing yacht and the first example of the new Southerly 420 model. Commissioned and delivered in Lymington, UK, she combines offshore capability with shallow-water versatility, making her a compelling option for cruising sailors looking for a well-thought-out, modern bluewater platform.

One of the defining features of Off The Grid is her variable draft swing keel system, which includes a grounding plate of approximately 4,630 lbs and a swing keel of approximately 3,461 lbs. With the keel fully lowered, she achieves a draft of 8'11", supporting confident offshore passage-making and strong upwind performance. At the touch of a button, the keel raises to a shallow draft of just 2'9", opening up anchorages and destinations that would be inaccessible to a conventional keelboat. The yacht also features twin rudders, a raised saloon with excellent visibility, two heads, and a deck plan and rig designed for easy single or short-handed handling.

Off The Grid has already proven herself in blue water conditions, having completed the 2024 ARC rally from the Canary Islands to Saint Lucia following her delivery. The current owners are now selling only because they have decided to move to a larger yacht, meaning Off The Grid is offered in virtually new condition with very light use.
