1997 CHRISTENSEN Compare

Built by Christensen in 1997, SEA CLASS is a 47.24-metre motor yacht that has undergone comprehensive refits in 2018, 2022 and 2024, including a new interior, full paint and a complete rebuild of her engines. She presents today in excellent condition and represents a well-maintained example of American build quality from one of the most respected yards in the industry. Her exterior design is by Donald Starkey, with a contemporary interior by Glade Johnson Design, and she benefits from a remarkable amount of natural light throughout her spaces.

SEA CLASS accommodates 12 guests across 6 staterooms, including an expansive full-beam master suite on deck with his and hers ensuite bathrooms. A bonus cabin on the main deck is well suited for a caregiver or young children, making the layout particularly practical for families or larger groups. On deck, guests enjoy a spacious sundeck fitted with shade sails, a four-person sun bed, loungers, a BBQ and a Jacuzzi. The bright skylounge and bar features exceptionally large windows, and the upper aft deck is equipped with a wet bar and wrap-around teak decking. A wide staircase leads to an oversized swim platform with access to a full range of water toys and inflatables. With a top speed of 16 knots, a cruising range of 3,500 nautical miles and zero-speed stabilizers for comfort at anchor, SEA CLASS is a capable and versatile vessel.

SEA CLASS is particularly well suited to buyers seeking a yacht with strong charter income potential alongside private use. Her established charter history, generous guest capacity, wide range of onboard amenities and shallow draft — which allows access to remote anchorages — make her a compelling proposition for an owner looking to offset running costs through an active charter programme. She is equally suited to buyers seeking a spacious, well-equipped vessel for private family or group cruising over extended ranges.
