1975 FEADSHIP

Built by Feadship in 1975, Valeria is a 44.2-metre motor yacht with a remarkable history. Originally constructed by De Vries Yachts as a 130-foot steel motor yacht for an American client, she holds the distinction of having been the first private yacht equipped with an on-board helicopter. Following her acquisition in 2005, the current owner — an engineer with a perfectionist approach — undertook what began as a renovation and evolved into a comprehensive reconstruction, resulting in an essentially new vessel built within the original classic Feadship lines. The hull was extended from 38 to 44.2 metres, the flybridge and sun deck were fully rebuilt, and all works were carried out under the supervision of De Voogt Naval Architects, with approval from both Feadship and Bureau Veritas.
