ELLEN has been expertly maintained throughout her life and underwent a comprehensive refit in 2015 that covered virtually every aspect of the yacht. New teak decks were installed at the same time. All onboard systems were either replaced or fully serviced, including hydraulics, winches, HVAC, refrigeration, navigation and communication equipment, and audio-visual systems. The starboard gearbox received full maintenance covering bearings, seals, oil change and filters, while the portside gearbox was kept on a regular maintenance schedule. Charts and radio equipment were checked and updated, all safety equipment was verified, and the AC unit was replaced. A further cosmetic refit was carried out in 2020.
