Built by Windship Yachts in 1992, YQUEM is a 31.7 m custom cutter-rigged sloop designed by Bill Tripp with an interior by Donald Starkey. YQUEM accommodates eight guests in four en suite double cabins, with three separate crew cabins. Her epoxy composite hull is reinforced with Kevlar, and she is powered by a 460 hp Lugger main engine that was fully refurbished and showed zero hours in August 2026. She features a SPARCRAFT carbon mast, 535 m² upwind sail area and an impressive 1,900 NM range. The yacht has been comprehensively refitted between May 2025 and August 2026, including hydraulics, electrics, plumbing, propulsion, rigging, navigation electronics and interiors.
