2004 CUSTOM Custom Confronta

Built in 2004, BASILISK is a 27.43-metre custom motor yacht originally constructed as a Canadian fishing vessel designed to operate safely in the demanding conditions of Newfoundland's offshore waters. She was fully converted to an explorer vessel in 2015 and further refined in 2020 by her current owner, with a clear focus on efficiency, range, reliability and environmental responsibility. She accommodates up to 6 passengers across 3 staterooms, with a dedicated crew of 6, and offers a range of up to 6,000 nautical miles.

BASILISK's layout and design reflect her purpose as a capable long-range explorer. Her large aft deck provides storage for multiple tenders while also serving as an excellent outdoor living space with straightforward water access, making her particularly well suited for diving and remote sea exploration. The yacht was conceived to be fully self-reliant, with easy access to all mechanical systems and duplication of all key machinery — a practical and reassuring feature for extended offshore passages.

BASILISK is ideally suited to a buyer seeking a proven, purpose-built explorer with genuine offshore capability and serious range. Her combination of rugged origins, thoughtful conversion and owner-driven refinement makes her a strong choice for those who wish to explore remote destinations independently, pursue diving expeditions, or undertake extended ocean passages with a small crew in reliable, well-equipped conditions.
