2008 NAUTOR SWAN 82 Confronta

Built by Nautor Swan in 2008, S/Y Sentinel is a 25.11-metre sailing yacht that combines exceptional sailing performance with refined onboard comfort. Designed on a hull by German Frers and finished with distinctive interiors by Lazzarini Pickering, this Swan 82 represents a well-balanced proposition for buyers seeking a performance cruiser with genuine character and build quality.

S/Y Sentinel accommodates up to eight guests across three elegantly appointed cabins, providing generous living space for extended passages or relaxed coastal cruising. The yacht has been maintained to a consistently high standard, with a comprehensive series of works carried out between 2016 and 2026. Most recently in 2025, the yacht received new 12mm teak decking, new navigation equipment, a new air conditioning chiller, a full interior wood surface refurbishment, a refrigeration system upgrade, replacement of all batteries, and new mainsail and jib halyards, among other upgrades. In 2026, further works included servicing of the autopilot hydraulic actuators, backstay actuators, Harken winches, and the installation of a new 160-metre anchor chain, new cutlass bearings, and a new PSS lubrication unit. All sails have been inspected and confirmed to be in good condition. A custom-built 16-metre Indiana/Comar shadow tender capable of cruising at 30 knots is available upon request and sold separately, offering an interesting complementary package for the right buyer.

S/Y Sentinel is well suited to a private owner seeking a high-performance blue-water sailing yacht with the comfort and reliability required for both fast passages and extended cruising in remote destinations. The combination of a proven hull design, quality construction by Nautor Swan, and a thorough recent maintenance programme makes this yacht a credible and ready-to-sail option in its class.
