2025 MCP YACHTS Global Exp 68 Confronta

Built by MCP Yachts in 2025, the 2025 MCP Global Exp 68 is a 20.72-metre sailing yacht that combines robust engineering with thoughtful design. Developed by a team of passionate sailors and aluminum shipbuilders across two generations, this vessel offers a balanced combination of comfort, safety and cruising capability for sailors worldwide.

The Global Exp 68 features a lightweight aluminum hull (alloy 5083, Lloyd's Register certified) that is exceptionally durable and rigid—up to ten times stronger than comparable fiberglass designs. The yacht accommodates four cabins: a spacious main stateroom with king bed, private office and ensuite bathroom; two midship guest cabins with private facilities and sea views; and a large forward cabin accessible to the technical area. Key structural features include a raised salon with integrated pilot house offering panoramic views and full navigation and engine control, a fully enclosed engine room with high ceilings and thermal insulation, a protected central cockpit with hardtop, and a hydraulic swing keel system providing a shallow draft of 1.85 metres when retracted. Smart joinery with low-density composite structures optimizes weight and performance throughout.

This yacht is well-suited to experienced cruising sailors and families seeking long-range capability combined with thoughtful living spaces. The design emphasizes durability and safety in challenging weather, practical maintenance access, and the ability to explore shallow anchorages—all hallmarks of serious expedition sailing.
