2005 ISLAND PACKET 445 Confronta

Built by Island Packet in 2005, Make Me Laugh Again is a 13.94-metre sailing yacht based on the well-regarded 445 model. She offers a considered combination of seaworthiness, onboard comfort, and practical features that make her a capable choice for extended blue-water cruising. Her layout across two cabins provides a comfortable and functional living arrangement suited to life aboard over longer passages.

Make Me Laugh Again stands out for the quality and thoughtfulness of her on-deck and below-deck equipment. A custom arch and davit system aft integrates antennas, Starlink, and solar panels, while stainless steel perimeter deck tubing runs the full length of the boat for added safety at sea. Below decks, a washer/dryer and LiPo battery installations support genuine off-the-grid autonomy and comfortable daily living. Under sail, recently installed North 3Di sails deliver responsive performance, and both Harken headsail furlers and an in-mast furling mainsail allow all control lines to be led aft, keeping the cockpit safe and manageable for a short-handed crew.

This yacht is well suited to buyers looking for a self-sufficient offshore sailing vessel ready for extended cruising. The combination of modern sail handling systems, energy management features, and safety-oriented deck layout makes her a practical and reliable choice for couples or small crews planning long-distance passages or extended liveaboard use.
