2011 PENDENNIS Confronta

Built by Pendennis in 2011, AKALAM is a 32-metre sailing yacht that offers a balanced combination of performance, comfort and elegant design. Conceived by Barracuda Yacht Design for its naval architecture and exterior styling, with interior design by Javier Muñoz, AKALAM represents exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail throughout.

AKALAM features three cabins and is engineered for extended cruising with a lifting keel that adjusts draft from 3.6 to 5.5 metres, allowing access to shallow waters and secluded anchorages. The yacht is equipped with a carbon fibre rig and advanced hydraulic systems for efficient sailing performance, generous freezer and refrigeration capacity for long-distance voyages, and an expansive 60-square-metre aft deck. Large flush-mounted hull windows flood the interior with natural light and provide uninterrupted sea views, while a distinctive retro aesthetic—featuring a varnished wooden base around the deckhouse and traditional bow with raised stern—sets her apart in her class.

AKALAM is ideally suited to owners seeking a high-performance sailing yacht for extended cruising and entertaining. Her combination of innovative design, practical cruising systems and generous outdoor space appeals to discerning sailors who value both comfort and the ability to explore diverse coastlines and hidden anchorages.
