2004 VIKING 65 Convertible Vergleichen

Built by Viking in 2004, Kickback is a 19.81-metre convertible sport fisher that has been consistently maintained to a high standard throughout its life. Currently on her second owner, she has been captain-maintained with an unrestricted maintenance budget, keeping all services fully up to date. What sets her apart from other vessels of the same model is her optional Caterpillar C30 engines, currently showing only 2,622 and 2,623 hours respectively, following a full 2,000-hour service. The Viking 65 Convertible, produced between 2000 and 2005 with over 80 units built, is widely regarded as one of the finest sport fishers the builder ever produced.

Kickback presents an extensive list of upgrades and updates carried out with care. The exterior has received a complete Awlgrip paint job in Whisper Gray across the hull, non-skid side and fore deck, and flybridge ladder. Cockpit teak and cover boards have been fully replaced, and all varnish is reported to be in excellent condition. The 179-square-foot cockpit features mezzanine seating, a fighting chair, refrigeration and freezer space, and Glendenning cable master stations on both sides. The flybridge has been updated with Garmin electronics, a new Makrolon enclosure, and upgraded refrigeration and freezer chest. Inside, the salon benefits from a custom console with a hi/lo TV lift, redesigned sofa with additional seating and storage, and a galley equipped with concealed Sub-Zero appliances and raised solid wood cabinetry. The accommodation layout offers four staterooms: an amidship master suite with a walk-around king-size bed, a forward VIP with a centerline queen berth, a starboard guest cabin with upper and lower berths, and a fourth stateroom aft of the master, complete with its own head, shower and direct engine room access. Additional notable updates include new underwater lights (September 2025), a new shaft dripless system (September 2025), new ice machine, updated AC chillers, a recently serviced Aqua Whisper Sea Recovery watermaker, new interior and exterior soft goods, LED lighting throughout, new window treatments, and replaced interior headliners. Both Onan generators have been recently serviced, and a full bottom service including antifouling paint, prop speed and zincs was completed in June 2025. All Caterpillar C30 spare parts will convey with the sale.

Kickback is well suited to buyers seeking a capable, well-maintained sport fisher with genuine offshore fishing credentials and comfortable accommodation for family or guests. Her four-stateroom layout, well-appointed interior and proven platform make her equally practical for relaxed coastal cruising or serious tournament fishing. The turn-key condition and comprehensive upgrade history reduce the typical concerns associated with a vessel of this age, making her a straightforward proposition for a buyer ready to use her immediately.
