Built by Y Yachts in 1983, the 1983 Y Yachts Trawler is a 15.23 metre motor yacht that combines proven hull design with practical functionality. This vessel was constructed in Marathon, Florida, and has established itself as a capable craft for fishing and extended cruising operations.

The yacht is powered by a 500 hp Detroit Diesel 12V92 engine supported by 1,200 gallons of diesel capacity, 700 gallons of gasoline capacity, and 500 gallons of fresh water. Accommodation includes a single cabin with air conditioning and sleeping capacity for 10 guests. The galley is fully equipped with two refrigerators, an electric oven and four propane burners. Notable features include a 14,000 lb freezer with a new compressor, stainless steel crawfish processing tubs, dual helm stations with the upper helm featuring a complete enclosure, a water maker, video television, and navigation electronics comprising radar, GPS and two VHF radios. All running gear is specified in stainless steel, and a recent dry dock programme has included new AwlGrip paint on the deck, three coats on the hull sides, two coats of Island 44 antifouling on the bottom, and PropSpeed protection on the propeller.

This vessel is well suited to buyers seeking a functional motor yacht with established fishing capabilities and comfortable overnight accommodation.
